Dr. Payman Sadeghi acts as the clinic director of Miami Headache Institute. He has had years of success in developing a new headache treatment philosophy at the Houston Headache Institute and in 2013 decided to expand to South Florida and New Jersey.

Dr. Sadeghi's career has been focused on headache patients and how to most effectively treat them. During the earlier part of his career in Houston he worked side by side with one of the pioneers in headache research, Dr. Ninan Mathew. Dr. Sadeghi's years of experience and forward vision led him to create his own headache treatment philosophy which is based on careful diagnosis and a wide diversity of treatments. 

After earning a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa, Dr. Sadeghi sought to expand his horizons in the area of tropical medicine. That took him to the Dominican Republic where earned his Medical Degree at Nordestana University before completing his clinical rotation at the University of Montreal and McGill University. 

During his Neurology residency at the University of Texas, Dr Sadeghi's interest in headache diagnosis and treatments began to grow. In 2005 he received his completed his residency and became an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas. 

Dr. Sadeghi has completed an electromyography super fellowship as well as many epilepsy and neuroimaging fellowships. He is a member of the American Headache Society, the National Headache Foundation and the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Sadeghi is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Persian.
